Lisa's Sitewide Accessibility Statement
I strive to make my websites as accessibile as possible. This goes hand in hand with my design philosophy: Keep it simple.
However, I do not have access to non GUI methods of viewing my website (except for Links and Lynx). So I need to depend on you, the reader to report any accessibility problems with the site.
That said, my website is 100% compliant XHTML 1.1 and CSS. The only fixed dimensions on the website is the layout and lends itself nicely to text enlargement or screen magnification.
I am aware that this website doesn't work in some browsers; that is a flaw of those browsers since this website is valid XHTML and CSS. I appologise to those who have no means to use this website other than using crippled browsers.
For the visually impaired I am trying to create stylesheets which will create a website that, for instance, does not speak the entire menu, or speak the contents of the 'Breadcrumbs' box. However, I am unable to test these features so I rely on the audience to present constructive feedback.
Thanks for visiting!
