Site Information

When I wrote this website I didn't really have much to say, but I think that a good thing to do is to proclaim the virtues of XHTML and CSS in the hopes that people will let go of the old ways and get with the times. It is time to switch to an XML DOCTYPE to ease automated gathering of data from webpages with XML-based services.

My design philosophy can be summed up in a acronym: "KISS", and expanded upon in a page. Of course, you should also read about proper mime-type to use when authoring XHTML. But if you can't satisfy the mime type requirements, you should fall back on HTML 4.01 Strict instead.

Notice how I've not used any file extensions? The reason is a fantastic module for Apache called mod_negotiation

This site's changelog can be seen in CVS.
