Lisa's Philosophy

Well, its like this: I think that any possible outcome to any event (and subsequent events) has already happened. And each "thing" that is able to make a decision will affect every other piece of matter in the universe.

That is, if I chose to destroy a car then there's no way that anyone else could use the car. My action affects everyone. But its deeper than that farther reaching than that. For instance, if someone comes along and destroys the Earth, then for certain every organism on it will be affected. The solar system will be affected, gravitational forces will be changed and all that.

This philosophy, I believe, explains déjà vu -- if I've already done it before, then for certain I will recognize it the "second time around." This raises the question: "What is there to say, or suggest, that we've DONE literally everything?"

To answer this question I would say this whole idea is based on the premise that we have already "done it all" before; and that we are now only living out our self-made and pre-determined choices.

Now, this isn't a fully developed page, so don't be too harsh.

I think there is a book out there called "The Hole in the Zero" that goes into this subject. I'm reading it now (30 Apr 03), once I finish I'll update this page! :) June 13 update: I should point out that this book is incredibly poorly written and is just plain bad.
